The journal bearing of the ball mill, also known as the "shaft liner", is the part that comes into contact with the sliding bearing and shaft of the ball mill. Although the journal bearing is a component, it bears the force applied by the shaft neck, plays a crucial role in maintaining oil film stability, ensuring smooth operation of the bearing, and is also an important part in reducing bearing friction. Once the journal bearing fails, it can lead to complete failure of the entire bearing and even cause production stoppage of the ball mill.
The advantages of the hammer crusher are: large crushing ratio (generally 10-25, up to 50), high production capacity, uniform product, few excessive phenomena, low energy consumption per unit product, simple structure, light equipment quality, and easy operation and maintenance.
The disadvantages of the hammer crusher are: the hammers and grates wear out quickly, maintenance and balancing take a long time, when crushing hard materials, wear is fast; when crushing sticky wet materials, it is easy to block the grate gaps, which can easily cause downtime (the moisture content of the material should not exceed 10%).
